About The Good Veranda Company
We do the right thing by you, our valued customer
After more than a decade of selling and installing verandas nationwide, we felt there was a gap for a company that put the customer experience first. That’s why we created The Good Veranda Company.
We appreciate that a veranda, garden room or carport could represent a major lifetime purchase for you, and we want to make the whole process — from initial enquiry right through to when you’re fully enjoying your new structure — not just as easy and stress-free as possible, but an exciting and enjoyable experience in itself.
Honest, transparent pricing
One of the first things we wanted to get right was pricing. Getting a price in this industry can sometimes feel like a commitment in itself — phone calls, home visits, and lengthy conversations before you ever see a number.
We didn’t want that for our customers. So we built an Online Quoter that gives you an upfront, all-inclusive price — VAT and installation included — in just a few minutes. No hidden costs, no surprises, and no need to speak to anyone first. You get a straight answer, and then you can decide in your own time whether you’d like to take things further.
If you do want to chat, we’re always happy to. But it’s your choice, not ours.
An ethical approach to sales
We don’t use pushy, commission-only salespeople. Instead, we work with you to help you achieve your vision for your new space, drawing on over a decade of experience in the UK veranda industry.
We’re upfront and totally transparent about all aspects of your project — pricing, product specifications, and timelines. In the unlikely event that we couldn’t deliver within your budget, timeline, or specifications, we’ll be totally honest about that rather than mislead you to win your business. We’d always rather be straight with you than make promises we can’t keep.
High quality products
We only use top quality products manufactured in the UK, Germany or the Netherlands — all global leaders in innovative outdoor structural design. Our structures are built using the highest-grade, corrosion-resistant aluminium and feature advanced weatherproofing technology. We combine the latest in design and engineering to ensure your veranda, garden room or carport is not only visually stunning but also exceptionally durable, low-maintenance, and built to last. With warranties of up to 10 years and expected lifespans of 25–60 years, this is a genuine investment in your home.
What to expect when you work with us
From the moment you get in touch, we want you to feel looked after. Here’s what that looks like at each stage.
It starts with a conversation. Whether you use our Online Quoter, give us a call, or send us an email, you’ll get a clear, honest response. We’ll talk through the options that suit your property and your budget, answer your questions, and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. No pressure, no hard sell — just friendly, helpful advice. We pride ourselves on our approachable style, so we’ll assist where needed rather than push you towards a decision.
If you’re happy with the price and the service we’ve provided, the next step is a survey at your property. This gives us a full picture of the requirements of your project and allows us to confirm the final specification and price. The vast majority of the time, this won’t change from the initial quote — but in a small number of cases the survey may uncover something that requires a bit of extra work. Either way, we’ll be completely upfront about it. And of course, while we’re there, we’ll answer any further questions you might have.
Once the survey is completed, we’ll have a final run-through of everything, including expected timelines, and give you the confirmed price. If you’re happy with everything, you can place your order.
Communication that matters
Once the order is placed, we’ll get everything moving: ordering materials, arranging the installation, and checking in with you regularly along the way. We’ll keep you informed at every step — when materials are ordered, when the installation date is confirmed, and throughout the installation itself. We make ourselves available outside normal working hours to answer your questions at a time that’s convenient for you. We won’t go quiet on you, and we won’t leave you wondering what’s happening next.
When the project is completed, you’ll have your new, perfect space.
After your installation
But our relationship doesn’t end there. Whether you want to add side options to your veranda down the line, have a question about maintenance, or just want some advice — we’re still here. We genuinely enjoy hearing how much our customers are enjoying their new spaces, and we love to keep in touch if you’re happy for us to.
Nationwide, always personal
We install across England, Scotland and Wales. Being a nationwide company doesn’t mean being impersonal — every project gets the same care, the same oversight, and the same commitment to getting it right, wherever you are in the country.
We genuinely enjoy what we do, and we get a real buzz out of hearing how much our customers are enjoying their new spaces. That’s what motivates us — not targets, not commissions, just the satisfaction of knowing we’ve done a great job for someone who trusted us with their project.
Put simply, we do the right thing by you, our valued customer.
